I can't dance, I feel that I'm too uncoordinated - can I still go to Zumba® class?" YES, YOU CAN! You do not need to know how to dance, you just need to enjoy great music! The workout was designed for all fitness levels - beginner to advanced.
"What age group is Zumba® for?"
All ages! We have people from 8 years to 80 years-young in Zumba® class!
Can I keep up in these fitness classes?
Am I behind if I start now? Are people going to be focusing on me if I’m new?
The beauty of all Jenny’s fitness classes is that they are designed for YOU! Tons of options and modifications are always offered so that you get the most out of your workout. The good news is all routines are constantly changing.
Trust me, you won’t be the only one seeing these moves for the first time. There’s always new students in every class and nobody has time to focus on a new student, they are all looking at the instructor!
What do I wear/bring to class?
Whatever you’re comfortable in. Fabrics that breathe are often the best. For ZUMBA, any workout attire that allows you to move is appropriate along with proper fitting athletic shoes. You may also want to bring water, a towel, and possibly a mat for floor work.
For YOGA, comfortable and snug clothing is best. Clothing that is to lose may ride or hang in the way in certain poses. No shoes needed, yoga is best done barefoot. Bringing a yoga mat is highly recommended for comfort and safety during the practice. You may also want to bring water and a towel.
Is Childcare provided?
Childcare is not provided during Jenny's classes; however, friends in class share babysitters or switch off watching the kids at each other's houses. Come and enjoy some time just for you!
Can I come and watch a class to see if I like it?
Watching any class is highly discouraged for several reasons.
1.) The music is so fun you can’t possibly stay in your seat!
2.) Participating allows you to prove to yourself that you really can do this!
And trust me, YOU CAN!
3.) All Jenny’s fitness classes have a very welcoming, non-intimidating environment; therefore spectators are discouraged to ensure that all students feel comfortable during their fitness class.
If I buy a 10 class pass do I have to come to 10 classes in a row?
Absolutely not! You come to class when you want to. The 10 class pass has a three month expiration, so you have all 90 or so days to use up those 10 classes. And remember they can be used for ANY of Jenny’s fitness classes, Yoga or ZUMBA; mix and match for a great fitness plan!
